Very dissatisfied with this company. While the initial stories sounded good, the results are very disappointing. As a starting entrepreneur, I rarely felt supported, sometimes having to track my VAT returns myself and point out errors. As a small company, I would absolutely advise against joining them; you're secondary, no matter how good the owner's initial stories sound. A huge disappointment.

Until our limited company in Rotterdam went bankrupt, Wolfsbergen van Haarlem was our accountant. Actually, I should say Aad de Wit was our accountant, because through him we ended up at Wolfsbergen van Haarlem (after first working with him for Coopers Delft and Coorpers Den Haag). Due to the bankruptcy and loss of income, we couldn't pay Wolfsbergen van Haarlem's final invoice. This accountant then felt it necessary to hold us personally liable. How low can you get? Then we also discovered that we'd been overpaying VAT for five years. An accountant who audits your books should have noticed this. Unfortunately, nothing could be further from the truth. Wolfsbergen van Haarlem believes they didn't do anything wrong, and Aad de Wit... he's no longer available to us. We've been a customer for years, but if he can't make any more money from you, you'll never hear from him again.

The Dutch Tax and Customs Administration is our "friend," but we want to know how it works, how it thinks, and what it wants, and especially what it is and isn't entitled to. Wolfsbergen Van Haarlem are our eyes and ears within tax legislation; they know the laws and regulations and advise us perfectly on the possibilities within these laws and rules.
