During our first meeting, we clearly stated our wishes, which the advisor stated were feasible. After many weeks, we received an interest rate offer from Rabobank alone, and this offer was completely different from what we had envisioned. The offer was a text message, not even an email from Rabobank itself. After discussing this with the advisor, he claimed no other bank offered a different offer, so we decided to seek advice elsewhere. By then, two months had passed, which, given the contractor's deadline, was causing us considerable stress. Hypotheken Nederland arranged a mortgage within three weeks, and in the way we wanted, and Obvion, a branch of Rabobank, even arranged it. My partner subsequently contacted the advisor from Weisch because we received and paid an invoice for €1,700, even though he hadn't delivered anything. His response was "congratulations" on the mortgage being granted. We feel cheated by daring to specify €1,700 for work you didn't do.
