My alarm system was beeping and I called this company. I explained beforehand that I had already turned off the power myself because the beeping was unbearable and I knew there was a malfunction. Someone came by, and according to the invoice, he… unplugged the system. "As if I need someone for that." They charged almost €100 for this "work." On top of that, I got the feeling they wanted to take the battery, claiming it was a "fire hazard." That gave me a sneaky and untrustworthy feeling! All in all: no solution, no honest advice, but a bill. I could have just as easily done it myself without these costs. Very disappointing, thank you!

A while back, I had a new central heating system installed and some electrical wiring replaced. The three gentlemen handled both in one day and were very responsive to my needs.

I can't comment on the installation skills, but I can on their interaction with potential customers. I wanted a quote for two infrared panels for my living room and kitchen. I made two phone appointments with them. The first time, after waiting 15 minutes, I called them myself, but it turned out there was a customer in the showroom, so I couldn't be called. I then made a phone appointment for the next day. I didn't receive a call that day either. It's been a week now and I haven't heard anything. I can't really comment on the quality of their work, but I already feel like I'm not being taken seriously.

After a pleasant, honest quote discussion with Chris, we felt confident in having vd Weij install our solar panels. The solar panels, etc., and a pipe for induction cooking were to be installed. On the day of installation, two freelancers arrived; we thought vd Weij's own people would be there. It's a shame this wasn't mentioned, but otherwise, it wasn't a problem. They were very nice, courteous guys who did a good job. However, we felt the work was rushed a bit in the afternoon, as one of the guys had to leave early. Instead of a network cable, they installed it via TP-Link because of the inverter. This worked just as efficiently as a cable, but was faster. We didn't receive any further explanation (description) of how everything worked; they didn't have time. We'd hear from Chris. My husband and son even helped load the scaffolding. After installing the TP-Link, there was an immediate Wi-Fi outage. We told them, but they couldn't get through. Chris arrived a few days later, and Martin said he would come by to fix it. Excellent, super. I immediately asked if Van der Weij could also replace the ventilation box. He said he would get a quote, and a small job was possible. Martin arrived, and indeed, he needed a network cable, and the Wi-Fi problem was solved. Well done, Martin. One of the solar panel's micro-optimizers had also failed. I saw Martin and reported it to Solar Edge, and they said they would send a new one, and it was fixed. After a few days, the micro-optimizer was working again. According to Chris, it was probably a data problem, and that was all. After a week, it stopped working again. We called again, and they said they would replace it. It's working again now, but sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't...it's not okay. So now it needs replacing? We also received a message that Van der Weij no longer had time to install the ventilation box before the agreed-upon date due to illness. They didn't offer any assistance, asking how else to fix it, but no, it just didn't work! Well, thanks, but you hear that three weeks later, even though Chris said it shouldn't be a problem, even if it was a small job. I understand when people are sick and the pressure is on. Such things happen in every company, but then they immediately shut down and, if necessary, don't consider the matter. I also sent Chris an honest email about this, and received no response whatsoever. That speaks volumes to us.

I called the installation company today for information regarding hydronic balancing, asking how much it costs per radiator. I was asked why I wanted to do it. The answer was that it is difficult to estimate and that it depends on the installation. I could also do it myself. The phone call was then cut short because someone entered the showroom and they hung up without saying goodbye. Apparently, I (a potential customer) was not important enough. So, for me, they get 1 star for the abrupt termination of the call.
