Unfortunately, due to a coronavirus infection just before my vacation, I had to cancel the trip. D-Reizen said, "Too bad, but unfortunately for you... 100% of my money was lost, and rebooking was no longer possible." Fortunately, I had previously taken out continuous travel insurance with Waaijers + Partners BV. I called and explained the problem. I followed the advice to have a new PCR test taken shortly before my scheduled departure. This was, of course, positive again. I forwarded this test result and the cancellation invoice from the tour operator to my agent, Hans Waaijers, who helped me submit everything to the insurer (NH). Within two business days, I received a response that the costs would be fully reimbursed, and within five business days, the money was in my account. Truly excellent service, which was very welcome in such an unpleasant situation. So, once again, thank you so much for all your help, Hans!

Unfortunately, I can't recommend them. They don't update you on changes in your environment and family composition, which (as it turns out) leaves you underinsured, even though I've asked about ten times if everything is still up to date. All email questions seem to be answered with a sigh. As if it's too much. The car insurance premium is a joke. Independer comes up with 80 euros, and after a Gestapo interrogation (really!), they dare to offer you a cheap *cough* premium of 151.24 euros per month. Because, well, I'd like to have insurance for business, and I could go after my cancellation statement with the stated claim-free years myself. That's what you pay an insurer for! Summary: - Underinsured due to income fluctuations - Underinsured, inadequate legal assistance, and inadequate home contents and electronics coverage - Incorrect car insurance advice because a cheap policy is included in the current all-inclusive package (70 euros cheaper) - Sour email conversation - Inadequate advice We switched to a larger brokerage firm. Our monthly expenses are higher, but we now have a comprehensive package and feel satisfied that we're not missing out on coverage.
