This store has potential but falls short in several areas. It is conveniently located in the center of town and offers a surprisingly large assortment of items, especially considering the relatively small size of the location. However, the customer service is noticeably poor, and the employees often seem annoyed if you ask for help or have any questions. I have visited multiple times, and each time I’ve felt like my presence was more of a bother than anything else. I always leave feeling a bit disappointed. Additionally, one of my previous partners mentioned that, as a woman shopping in this store, she felt looked down upon. I’m not sure how much of that was due to the employees’ behavior and how much was her own perception, so take that for what it’s worth.

Good local hardware store. Prices may not be the lowest but there is lots of personal attention and the assortment is surprisingly broad. At the end of the Langegracht near Molen de Valk and the large underground parking. Friendly and knowledgeable service

Yesterday, Hartwijk did substantial work on replacing the rusty pipes (verwarming) in my house. They were highly professional and in my opinion did truly excellent work. I highly recommend them.

This store is an absolute disgrace. Our boiler has been nonfunctional for a month, so no hot water, no showers, no central heathing. They installed a new boiler, also busted, so we have been contacting them on a daily basis, as they either dont pick up the phone or you are being told "we are working on it" with a promise of service that never arrives. Completely unreliable company.
