As a young couple, we started looking for a nice place. We knew what was possible through our advisor. The house we chose was within our budget. Yet, the real estate agent claimed we couldn't afford it. At least, that's their word. Very disrespectful. It was fortunate that the house was what we were looking for (with all the flaws that followed), because this isn't the place for information, service, and professionalism. Our designated real estate agent was almost never present at appointments and unreachable by phone. It was then a colleague or a substitute whom we couldn't ask anything of. It seems like just anyone can become a real estate agent. The "Fair Offer" process is just a matter of giving the child a name. We had an agreement, yet they preferred to sell the house to someone else. All's well that ends well for us. But we will never choose Versluijs again, and we advise everyone against it.
