The lessons were great; instructor Paul is relaxed, patient, and explains things well. However, the "affordable" lesson packages offered turn out to be a false economy. You know months in advance when you can take your driving test, as this is requested during the very first lesson because the CBR waiting time is so long. Naturally, you don't know yet if you are an average student and will have enough lessons by the end; that seems logical to me, as not everyone is average. However, the lessons are not evenly distributed over the entire period leading up to the driving exam. So, if you ultimately have 1.5 months left until your exam and you run out of lessons, hundreds of euros are added for extra lessons. The driving school's explanation: "Well, there are students who need more lessons, you know"... However, firstly, this should have become clear during the progress, but nothing was ever said about it; everything went fine and I passed the interim test, and extra lessons were never discussed. Secondly, these extra lessons should have been added in between, because if someone does have enough with the package, they would end up without lessons for weeks until the exam because they have run out. The arrogant way driving school owner Frank cut short the conversation didn't make me feel any better; given that the above story didn't receive a much better explanation, he decided to end the conversation by phone. I can only conclude that these "bargain" packages are just a gimmick and are adjusted with extra lessons... that way, you end up paying around 2,500 euros all-in for your driver's license. Passed on the first try, though 🚗

A fantastic driving school, nothing bad to say about it. I passed my driving test on the first try. I highly recommend taking an interim test! So definitely do it! My driving instructor, Frank, is an experienced man who knows exactly what to do. I'm so glad I decided to take my driving lessons here. Unfortunately, I had very bad experiences with another driving school before, and I didn't have much faith in driving schools, but Rittenburg really proved me wrong. Highly recommended!

I initially chose Rittenburg for its competitive lesson prices and excellent pass rate, but everything else turned out to be fantastic! I had a lot of laughs with Frank and had a great time. Frank is a down-to-earth and direct guy with a good sense of humor, and he's also an excellent driving instructor. Listen carefully to everything Frank tells you, and your driving license will follow. Thank you so much for the fun and very educational time, Frank, and I'll try to keep driving carefully.

I really enjoyed my lessons with Frank. He's a down-to-earth man who explains things clearly and shares various driving tips and tricks, and he really put me at ease before the exam. The lessons were clear, on time, with a great car and a very pleasant atmosphere. We had a great chat and good exercises. All in all, I had a fantastic time and am now enjoying my driving license!
