If you're looking for a good and motivated motorcycle instructor, look no further. With René at drive2relax, you're treated like a person, not a number, and you'll also receive excellent lessons. I was really nervous about riding a motorcycle at first, but René gave me the confidence to do so, and I passed my driving test on the first try. The lessons were fun, enjoyable, and educational! I also rode with someone else, and René made sure we were paired up perfectly. In short, drive2relax is the driving school in Alkmaar where you want to take lessons to get your motorcycle license! Definitely do it! I haven't regretted it for a moment. René, thank you so much for the excellent and enjoyable lessons. I can't say this enough 😃

This driving school has everything perfectly organized. René is a very driven and excellent instructor who wants you to learn to drive properly and follow driving procedures. He teaches you the tricks of the trade. My wife and I recently had duo lessons with him, and it was truly fantastic. He has good, new training motorcycles, a separate heated room at home with a (loan) wardrobe for motorcycle clothing, and you can even enjoy coffee, tea, or a soft drink from the refrigerator before or after your lesson. Perfectly organized! His lessons are high-quality. He is a KNMV Certified (Motorcycle) Instructor, and that's clearly reflected in your lessons. He also films your motorcycle lesson so you can process it later when you're home. Especially at the beginning of your AVD lessons, you're dealing with a lot at once (motorcycle control, position on the road, merging, looking, etc.), and it's nice to be able to review it at your leisure from the comfort of your couch. This greatly enhances your learning. His commentary during the lesson is especially invaluable. I also laughed a lot (and still do!) at his witty remarks. This means you'll never forget, for example, that you shouldn't be driving a camper van ("You're driving that slow garage again!"). René excels at his personal approach, being available 24/7 for questions and explanations, and providing expert lessons. I highly recommend this driving school. The best place to take your motorcycle lessons and get your driver's license!

I would definitely recommend this driving school, especially for people with test anxiety or those who have developed a fear of driving due to bad experiences with a previous driving school. I didn't receive the guidance and explanation I needed at a previous driving school, which left me unprepared for my driving test. I also had several (near) accidents during my driving lessons. All these factors left me feeling very insecure and nervous in the car. Despite my insecurity and occasional fear, Reneé guided me in a calm and pleasant manner. I felt taken seriously and never rushed. What I especially appreciated was that he explained everything calmly, remained patient, and truly tailored the lessons to my needs as a student. If I had to practice something several times before I understood it, it wasn't a problem. He also taught me to look further ahead in traffic and better anticipate potential hazards. This gave me more peace of mind while driving. Even when driving in areas I hadn't been to before, like Heiloo or Castricum, I knew better how to navigate traffic safely, instead of memorizing specific test routes or streets in Alkmaar. As I took more lessons, my confidence in myself and my driving skills grew. In total, I had about 33 lessons and ultimately passed my driving test with a test anxiety qualification. I highly recommend this driving school to anyone who struggles with tension, uncertainty, or fear of failing in traffic, or is looking for a friendly and dedicated driving instructor for a car or motorcycle.
