My house was recently sold by Veltkamp and Stam Admono Real Estate Agents with a fantastic, above-and-beyond-my-expectations result. From the moment I placed the order to the sale, everything was handled perfectly. In addition to all the information in the move account, a WhatsApp group was immediately created for quick communication. Real estate agent Van de Beerecamp appraised the house and, after careful consultation, developed a sales plan in a friendly, transparent, realistic, and professional manner. The subsequent presentation on Funda was very appealing thanks to the work of a fantastic photographer and a well-worded and realistic accompanying text. Numerous viewing appointments quickly followed. At the end of each viewing day, I received a phone update on how things were going. This was very helpful, as it took away a lot of the tension. The real estate agent's estimates proved to be accurate. Within a month, my house was sold!

I've met my real estate agents after a long search for a home, and my experiences haven't always been great. I had a very pleasant conversation about buying a house with Alfred. He's friendly, helpful, and honest. You're also treated very well by phone. What a relief! We'll definitely be back if our dream house turns up in your beautiful area!

On November 5, 2022, our relatively new home (built in 2021) in Heerde was put up for sale. However, Veltkamp & Stam significantly overestimated the asking price, and we had to lower the asking price twice, totaling over 10%. After more than six months, we transferred the sale to another agent because half of the viewings were cancelled and the other half didn't receive any follow-up. With the other agent, the house was sold within three weeks after three viewings, all of which resulted in an offer. What bothers me most is that I twice asked if it might matter that Veltkamp & Stam primarily operates in Hattem and therefore might have less knowledge of the Heerde market. They told me it wouldn't, but they preached to the converted. Given how the sale went with the other agent, I don't really believe in luck. So, in that respect, it seems to me that Veltkamp & Stam simply lacks sufficient market knowledge outside of Hattem, especially considering the rather significant blunder with the initial asking price. Throughout the entire process, I found Veltkamp & Stam, especially compared to the other real estate agents, to be very passive. I regularly had to pursue things myself, and I didn't feel like I was being taken care of at all. With a previous sale through Veltkamp & Stam, things went well; the market was a bit easier back then. But now that they required a bit more professionalism, market knowledge, and assertiveness, I feel they fell far short. The fact that I had to pick up the key, which Veltkamp & Stam had in my possession, on the day the house was completed was telling. On September 6th, I was promised that the key would be delivered. However, almost three weeks later, I still hadn't received it, which unfortunately didn't surprise me. I simply couldn't leave even the simplest things to Veltkamp & Stam. Would I advise against Veltkamp & Stam? No, not necessarily. But I would definitely compare other agents, and there's a good chance there are better ones, especially outside of Hattem.
