Truly fantastic! We also found your communication very pleasant (not only from your perspective as a contractor, but also simply because of who you are), and the collaboration was excellent throughout the entire process. Nothing was too much trouble, and it was always spot on! P.S. I understand the electricians will never offer to install the lights again, but ours are perfect ;-) For now, thanks, and until the next renovation...

I rarely write a review, whether positive or negative. I'm more of a reader, which makes it a duty to share my own experiences. Finally starting to do so is a great opportunity to do so for the most important (and expensive) purchase of our lives: a house. Building your own home costs not only money but also energy; a lot of energy. It's tempting to choose a contractor solely based on price. A 5% difference compared to another contractor's quote can easily save you €10,000 or more. However, it remains difficult to accurately compare quotes. The difference lies in the unknown details of the exact execution, materials used, and any additional or reduced work. Each contractor will handle these differently, resulting in a different price than the original quote. Van Uden was very clear about this throughout the construction process and was flexible with the final bill. We deliberately chose a contractor we felt we had the right feeling about. We felt the worst thing would be to embark on a long-term and expensive project without trust. There will always be deviations from the drawing. This might be due to technical preferences, costs, or feasibility. Every design is unique. Then you need a contractor who actively contributes ideas and makes time to discuss these. They will also make mistakes; in that case, the question is how the contractor handles them. With Van Uden Bouwservice, we simply had a fantastic partner who built a fantastic house. We didn't manage to upset the foreman, Twan, with our changes and ideas during construction. The list of changes during construction is too long to list here. There were, of course, many small adjustments, but also a few significant ones, such as repositioning the windows and voids for a much more aesthetically pleasing look. We couldn't have judged this earlier from the architect's drawing. Twan remained calm and took the time to brainstorm with us. There was a solid team of great people on this project. Only now do we dare to admit that we were pleasantly surprised by how hard the team worked. They weren't absent a single day during the winter because it was too cold or rainy. In short, we look back on the entire construction project with great satisfaction. Thanks to Ton, Twan, and the rest of the team!

Bouwservice Van Uden renovated our house in a very professional and customer-friendly manner. In October 2016, we bought a house with a beautiful, large garden. The website literally advertised a "fixer-upper" for sale. So, it was a major renovation. Bouwservice Van Uden, in collaboration with plumbing company Van Dijk and electrical company Zutec, built a substantial extension that included the installation of underfloor heating and a new kitchen. A beautiful skylight was installed in the extension, providing ample natural light above the kitchen island. LED lighting was installed in the ceiling, creating atmospheric lighting for the French doors that open outwards in the evening. New doors were installed—interior, exterior, garden, and front doors. A toilet was renovated, and a second toilet was added on the first floor. A completely new bathroom was also installed in one of the bedrooms. The electrical system was updated, and all the pipes were replaced! All in all, we can only say that the work was completed to our complete satisfaction. We had Van Uden build an extension to our house. They needed a foundation and a wall to be demolished to create a passageway between the existing living room and the extension. They were very skilled workers. The owner and carpenters were very competent and friendly. Contact with the secretary was also smooth and quick. They really know their stuff. The craftsmen they hired were also very knowledgeable. We were very satisfied with the result. They delivered truly high-quality work. They even included a few extras at no extra cost—superb service. The final price also matched the quote, so no unexpected costs. All in all, we were extremely happy with the collaboration and the result.
