Unprofessional and rude call center. We booked a maintenance service for our boiler. They never came ans when we called them to see if they would visit us, the woman at the call center was very rude and arrogant. Don't choose them, especially if you are expats.

We had a new central heating boiler installed by Van Herwijnen for my 88-year-old mother. Unfortunately, we are very disappointed with the service and aftercare. After installation, problems arose immediately: the thermostat wasn't properly connected and later even switched off after adjusting the settings, leaving my mother without heating for a total of two days. Technicians had to return for repairs. Since installation, a clearly audible ticking sound has also developed in the pipes, which never occurred with the previous boiler. Despite several visits and minor adjustments, this problem has not been permanently resolved. Only minimal adjustments were made to the settings, even though we specifically requested a complete and smooth adjustment (flow temperature, output, pump) appropriate for the house. Communication is difficult. Responses are delayed for extended periods, or are indecisive ("no sound heard, so problem solved"), even though the sound is demonstrably intermittent. Furthermore, after several emails in which I addressed this, I was contacted by phone, where it became clear that they no longer wanted anything to do with us and that we should no longer rely on them. My mother was also called directly, even though all communication went through me, the son, which is inappropriate in this situation. For a new system with an extended warranty and maintenance contract, you would expect the installation to be completed properly and any problems to be taken seriously. Unfortunately, we didn't get that feeling here. In short: substandard aftercare and service, certainly disappointing considering the trust we placed in this company.
