My boyfriend and I went on our first viewing ever. You'd think it would be a pleasant experience, but it was a disappointment. From the moment we walked in, we were immediately met with the remark: "First viewing, right?" We then received a tour of about three minutes, during which it became clear we weren't being taken seriously. We made an offer anyway. After the bidding closed, we received a call that our offer hadn't been accepted because we'd been "way outbid," in a rather condescending tone. Fortunately, we are now the proud owners of a beautiful home through a different real estate agent, where we had an excellent experience. Based on our experience, I absolutely cannot recommend Van Gulik Makelaars. If we ever move again, we certainly won't be viewing through them again.
