The motor for our awning was broken. They came to take a look first, but they were a bit rushed because the awning was completely out on the second floor. We were promptly called back to schedule a repair, which also required a cherry picker. They were very courteous, and the repair was carried out quickly and efficiently. We still need awnings on the other side and will definitely request them from Van den Berg. In short, a very good company and highly recommended!

Excellent service, very friendly and helpful. I came to the store with a faulty Somfy remote control for my awning (which I didn't buy from Van den Berg). They immediately opened the remote to see where the problem was. It was moisture, so it couldn't be repaired. I was presented with various options and received a detailed explanation of how to program the new remote control myself.

This family business distinguishes itself in high quality through its expertise and impeccable quality. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Max and his girlfriend. We were in the market for roller shutters, several zip screens, and possibly an awning. While enjoying a good cup of coffee, our questions were answered clearly and without any slick sales talk. My technical questions were also addressed. Max explained that he wasn't just a salesman but also a practical man. Our house is situated in a location prone to (strong) winds. When I asked if the screens could withstand very strong winds, Max gave a resounding answer. He stood up and walked/jumped with his full weight into a screen hanging in his beautiful shop. That said more than a 100 words. We received extensive advice and samples about the color, quality, and visibility of the fabrics, the zip screens themselves, the shutter frame, and the remote control option. No question was left unanswered. Many examples are displayed in the beautiful shop, and everything can be seen and felt. On the agreed-upon day, Max arrived right on time. He saw our awning and advised against replacing it. Replacing the fabric was more than enough, considering the excellent quality of the existing awning. After taking detailed, accurate, and detailed measurements, we quickly received a fair quote. We accepted it. Among other things, they carefully checked how the roller shutter fit perfectly onto the facade without any visible brickwork underneath. After some time, Max and his colleague Yannick installed everything neatly and securely. All the packaging was neatly taken away. The remote controls were configured, and the phone app was also set up. We couldn't do anything ourselves. "Just look and enjoy the show," was what Max told us. We've since had a strong wind blowing against the screens. We're enjoying our purchase every day. Not only do the zip screens and the roller shutter do their job (sun protection and/or blackout) well, but they also work well. They're also beautiful to look at.
