We had a complete extension and new roof built by Van Campen. The builders are friendly professionals! However, the contact person doesn't keep his appointments and is completely incapable of planning. What surprises us most is the way this gentleman and the Van Campen management treat their clients. We requested another quote for a roof extension in October 2024 (partly due to the quality and friendliness of the builders). Mr. P.B. came to measure everything. We were supposed to receive a quote within four weeks. Long story short, after eight weeks, we even contacted management to discuss the matter and request a quote. The attitude and reaction of both management and Mr. P.B. have led to our very poor experience with Van Campen Construction Group.

Unfortunately, a leak developed in a window of our new-build home after a few years. We contacted Van Campen Bouwgroep, and it was resolved properly. They are easy to make arrangements with, and the service technician was present exactly at the agreed time. The handling took a bit longer than expected, but that was because the glass supplier was also involved.

Our new house is currently being built by Van Campen, so I can't comment on the final quality. However, I can say something about the preparation for construction. Communication with Van Campen is difficult. Returning calls is impossible, despite several people promising to do so. Initially, we were told that Van Campen offers a wide range of options for your upcoming house. But I strongly disagree. Trying to brainstorm and suggest improvements is pointless because they either don't act on them or are simply told they're impossible. Everyone knows that the prices of options for new houses are high, but Van Campen takes the cake. Discussing prices is pointless. So, our experience so far hasn't been great; hopefully, it will be different once our house is completed.

Antisocial construction workers who yell "wake up" at 7:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning and go about their work as loudly as possible. They blast the radio and shout at each other, not just during the week (which is understandable) but even on weekends, showing no consideration for neighbors. They've also repeatedly thrown items into the garden, such as a wooden plank with protruding nails, while small children and a dog often play there. All in all, terribly antisocial people!
