After purchasing a kitchen from Scheffer Kitchens, Harrco Hermans was supposed to come and do the preparations. We ultimately received the quote just two days before the kitchen was to be installed, and it was far too high for the work involved. Due to the delayed response, we couldn't hire another company. After a year and a half, we requested the itemized invoice detailing work that hadn't been carried out. A year later, we received the revised invoice, including a threat of a debt collection agency. An apology and a revised invoice would have been more appropriate. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone!

The result is good, but the communication is very poor. When scheduling an appointment, they were very vague, saying, "Oh, it'll be fine." But because they're difficult to reach by phone and email and don't return calls or emails, my girlfriend and I even looked around to see if another installation company could help us last-minute. Towards the end (the last available week) of the renovation, I finally got them on the phone in the evening and was told they'd be there the next day. I would have preferred to pay a bit more and have a clear schedule than this. Then we wouldn't have had to stress about whether the underfloor heating would be installed on time and whether we might have to reschedule the appointment with the moving company.
