Thanks Valentijn and Nazar for the great work on our house extension. I am not a person who often give reviews but I'd like to share our experience with Universal Bouw. Similar as other comments, the technical competence is already well described. What I need to add is the whole experience on doing the extension; especially as we are a non-Dutch family and we lived in the house during the renovation, it was quite a work and excitement/stress to prepare and go through the whole process. Since beginning, we have good feeling with Valentijn and Nazar, they explain well what we have to do, and even before the work started, they also help with the electric works. All without hassle. Communication went very fast, all topics were addressed immediately the next day; including internal stuff with the workers or externally with our neighbors; Valentijn is there to support. Valentijn has definitely good workers in his team, the whole 3 months of works in our place was done by 2 people; very nice guys and they really do everything with high quality. After it was finished, we had some water leaking from the kitchen; and Valentijn immediately sent one of his teams to check and this was also solved. Very easy to reach him and no difficulties to discuss things. Our full recommendation for a company you can trust to do any renovation in your house. Thanks again for your work, we wish you continuous success; and now we are very happy with our house.

These guys are my saviours! I have a long story with my renovation process. In short, I found a third-party company which received prepayment and did not deliver work in half a year. I was desperate, I had a limited amount of money for the renovation, and had no idea how to process everything, as the house was demolished and not livable. I shared my situation when we met with Valentijn, and he committed to helping with the construction. I'm glad that I met him and he acknowledged my desperate situation; as a result, he provided a reasonable price for the work with a fair discount without a reduction in the quality, which was a breakthrough for me, as I received hope that I'll be able to complete the house. Every day I visited the house and saw how the guys work, I'm 100% positive that they do their job properly and use only high-quality materials. The guys work hard and fast, they fully demolished the first floor, rebuilt it and built a roof extension in less than 2 months, it was incredible. Of course, it is without inner works, such as plastering and stuff like that. I also enjoyed the fact that Valentijn, with Nazar, monitored the work process, which also helps deliver high quality. I can talk and share a lot of positive things about these guys, and it might take a lot of writing. They saved me and helped me with my house when no other company agreed to build it with a limited budget. Valentijn is a very good person, reliable, honest and transparent, 100% recommend working with him!

We recently had our attic completely renovated, including new dakkapellen, an open‑plan bathroom with tiling and underfloor heating, and the replacement of two staircases. The project ran from October 2025 to February 2026, and although it was a long renovation, the team’s attention to detail made it absolutely worth it. Communication throughout the project was excellent. Valentijn kept everything running smoothly, and Nazar was always quick with updates and support. A special thank‑you to Alex, who carried out most of the building work. He worked incredibly hard—often long days—and always with a smile. His initiative, craftsmanship, and eye for detail really showed in the final result. Nothing was ever too much to ask, and the whole team, including those working behind the scenes, made the experience a pleasure. We’re pleased with the outcome and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, skilled, and friendly builders. 💪 Highly recommended!
