Top geholpen. Gistermiddag gebeld omdat ik m’n raam in de deur had gesloopt tijdens het verbouwen. Glas wat er in zat was er niet meer (heel oud), maar Tjitte dacht goed mee en er zit nu nog veel mooier glas in dan er in zat. Kwam vanochtend meteen langs om het goed op te meten en ‘s middags stonden er al twee mannen voor de deur die binnen no time de deur heel mooi dichtgemaakt hebben. Echt klasse. Alle drie ook zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

I called in the morning about a broken bottom window in an interior door. That same morning, the window was expertly replaced by two very friendly and skilled glaziers. They also provided valuable input on special glazing beads that were actually included. Standard glazing beads were installed at our request. Excellent service and a highly recommended company! I called around ten to ask how much a piece of reinforced glass measuring 131 by 67.5 cm would cost (given that the insurance company always has a clause in place to avoid paying, so I'll just do it myself), whether I could pick it up, but especially what it would cost if he could deliver it. Tjitse asked where I lived, and the answer he gave was surprising. Deal!! I said happily and relieved. 1, Having to transport something of that size yourself is a risky business (it's still glass, and things can go wrong, like coming home wrapped in a cloth and finding a broken piece of glass after unexpected braking, so you can do it again, pffff) unless you have a station and 2 in the city center, anti-burglary glass is not an unnecessary luxury, no doubt about it!! He would then bring it the next morning for a really friendly price, to which he said at the end of the conversation: "I'll be with you around half past eleven," 11:15 stood on the sidewalk with a reinforced piece of glass in his bare hands, put it in the hallway, whereupon I asked if maybe I could take the broken piece of glass back with me. I saw him think for a moment and then he was already gone again with the broken wired glass in his car. Great guy!! That such nostalgic service still exists. From the phone call to the delivery, it was less than half an hour. Meanwhile, my front door has become completely unattractive to scum and other viper thieves... thanks!!
