This Makelaars that should be avoided. My wife and I were interested in a house in Renkum. We went to visit it and discussed everything with the realtor (Mr D.H). As we were interested in the property, the same day of the visit (Friday), we sent him an email telling that we were willing to make an offer on Monday after having clarified the last doubts. On Monday, we call him several times and sent emails, but he never answered to us. We called the agency directly and the secretary told us that the house was already sold, even though the realtor had confirmed us during the visit that he would have waited until Monday before accepting any offer. Upon request of clarification, we received no answers from his side. The sad part of the story is that even after three weeks, the house is still on the market. We thought that this behaviour was due to the fact that we are expats, but after having discussed with many Dutch friends, their inability to properly deal with clients seems constant with everyone.

Zero professionalism. We went to inquire about a property we wanted to buy in the Renkum area. The person who attended to us was rude and impolite, asking if we had the money to buy a house and how much. I was with my young daughter, under 30, and she immediately dismissed her and sent us to a place that offers mortgages. She didn't even let me explain that we had a considerable sum of money, as we had recently sold a property in Spain. We will definitely not buy anything from this agency.

Urgent advice: stay away from this office. Narcissism at its finest. You'll be lied to and strung along for weeks, because who knows, they might even sell you a house (which you're not interested in at all). Disgraceful. NVM: are you listening? My response to T&T Makelaars' reply: 1. I'm not talking about phone contact at all; this is about every single moment. This includes the 3 minutes (!) we spent at your office yesterday. We left almost immediately afterward because it turned out we'd come to the office for a house that had already been sold (which I'd even inquired about by phone that very morning!). Clearly, your intention was to sell us a remaining terraced house. Disgraceful! 2. At no point did we ask to reserve a building number for us for weeks. We did, however, ask if you could contact us by phone to inform us of any other seriously interested parties. That was promised and didn't happen. We were very serious about this property (Don Bosco in Renkum, no. 38) and intended to buy it. It's bizarre to discover that you've been sitting on the sidelines all this time (the 'new' buyers didn't just suddenly appear out of the blue...) and were strung along. They passed up several viewings and options because we went for this property. Absolutely unheard of. 3. There was absolutely no communication with us, multiple times. Stop the lies! Learn to treat people respectfully and stick to your code of conduct. 4. Another tip: it's unacceptable (GDPR, are you familiar with that?) to show personal data and communications between you and the buyer (of no. 38) to outsiders (us, that is). Besides making your lies seem even more unbelievable by showing a printed email exchange, you're violating privacy legislation. As the owner, you should definitely know that.

If you're looking for a real estate agent, you definitely shouldn't choose this one. We bought a house through these crooks. Buying another house should be a real treat, but with this agent, it turned out to be a disappointment. They don't honor their agreements; they only handle things they consider important, and the way they want them done, otherwise, they'll just talk back to you. We never want to do business with them again, especially not with G. Timmer. May these people be allowed to call themselves NVM real estate agents!
