I came across Thuismakelaar / Jeroen while looking for an apartment around his area. Engaging him proved to be the best decision, because with his help I bought a place just right for me. In contrast to other aankoopmakelaars I spoke with, Jeroen was available, followed through on his words, actually listened to me and always gave an honest, pragmatic advice. It is convenient that he offers different service levels depending on the client’s needs. For instance I was happy to do the search and viewing on my own, and he was accepting of this approach. However, if someone is unfamiliar with Den Haag or the housing market, I would encourage them to utilize Jeroen’s services and expertise to the fullest. He knows all the nuances and can recommend a solution based on budget, family or life situation. Once I found a place I liked, he was quick to come up with an offer and close the deal, and he navigated well an unexpected turn of events. He has a good network too and could arrange a technical inspection quickly or recommend a reliable notary. Jeroen’s colleague, Mariëtte also deserves special praise and thank you for all her support. She helped me with the operational tasks, the admin work and was always super-quick to answer my questions. The team deserves five stars purely based on the result: in the challenging housing market I could buy a nice home at a fair price. On top of that I had a chance to work with two great people whom I can definitely recommend to everyone and would engage again in the future.
