Due to the extensive work, there are some waiting times for the panels to be installed. They were finally installed on August 15, 2019, and they're working perfectly. The work was very neatly finished, and you can quickly tell these guys are knowledgeable. A very efficient heat pump boiler (150L) was also installed. The gas tap was also turned off yesterday. (It still costs 17 euros per month, or canceling the meter, which costs about 800 euros. They (STEDIN or LIANDER are dismantling the line from the street to the meter box)—madness! A tip: first have the electrical system inspected and adjust the grounding if necessary. In most cases, an additional circuit (for older houses) will also need to be installed. More than 4000? (Recommended) Then a more powerful inverter that can supply 3 phases. Get good advice before deciding to install a system. Consumption may increase in the future. After weeks of reading and gathering information, we decided to purchase solar panels. We wanted a local company to install them, so we could keep each other busy, especially during the coronavirus pandemic. We read a lot of good things about SolarEdge installation on the SafeSolar website, which immediately appealed to us. We requested an appointment online. To my surprise, I received a call about two hours later, asking when we could schedule an appointment. A week later, we scheduled an appointment. Jurgen Dijkstra came to the appointment. He gave me, a layperson, a clear and honest explanation of the options, the yield, and the installation of the solar panels. He brought along a laptop for the calculation method and explanation. Jurgen was very clear about SolarEdge: "We only sell this product because we stand by it 100%!!! That gives us confidence." A few days later, we received a proper quote. After a few more questions, we revised the quote twice, and finally accepted it. On the day of installation, Pieter Dijkstra and two friendly installers arrived around 9:00 AM. We started with a cup of coffee, and then we discussed the project further. Ultimately, the panels were installed in a way that best suited the layout, after careful consultation with Pieter. The installers politely asked if they could use the restrooms, which I thought was very kind. The job was completed around 1:00 PM. Time will tell if the installation is a success; I can't comment on that yet. However, I can say that SafeSolar did an excellent job in a very relaxed manner. No rush, just a good job, leaving everything working and tidy.
