WARNING! BEWARE! Last Saturday, Stefano Schaap paving company was supposed to come and pave my mother Matty's garden. A quote had already been sent, and everything was ready for the paving. Mr. Stefano alerted my mother that there wouldn't be enough paving stones, so he managed to arrange them. She still had to collect them all. They spent the entire week doing this. They also finished paving the garden almost completely. Everything seemed to be in order. However, on Tuesday, my mother received a message from Stefano that he wouldn't be coming. He was busier than expected, and a machine was broken. Canceling the appointment because of the busy schedule is anything but polite, in my opinion. An appointment is an appointment. He did give me the number of another paving company, but my mother indicated she didn't want to. An appointment had been made with Stefano, and my mother felt he should keep it. She mentioned this, but they didn't respond. By then, my mother was at her wits' end. Woonfriesland was aware that the garden was being paved. She thought she'd finally found a good paving contractor. But unfortunately, she didn't. She did try calling and texting several times, but they didn't respond. It's now been a week, and the contractor still hasn't responded or attempted to call back. I think this is rude. This isn't how a reputable company should behave. And that's not how you treat customers. We all understand busy times and broken materials. But you can't just leave someone with a whole garden full of stones and then say, "I'm not coming, sort it out later!" You can't do that. Especially not with a woman who has difficulty walking and wants to sit in her garden in the nice weather. So I advise everyone against it. If you want your garden paved, DON'T DO IT WITH Stratenmakersbedrijf Stefano Schaap. There's no communication. They don't honor agreements. And they just leave you hanging. Very disgraceful.

It's now been three weeks since my partner wrote a review on this forum and Facebook. We're still waiting for a proper response to our complaints. I strongly advise against this company. They've failed to contact us and simply abandoned my mother-in-law with her garden.
