Account manager abuses GDPR. I received an unsolicited call from an account manager who used my personal details and financial information (a payment plan) as a sales pitch. I was told, "Don't be alarmed." He also claimed to know me and my network, even though I don't know him. This is comparable to unsolicitedly contacting a former cancer patient and saying, "You had cancer, right? Here, buy this healthy supplement." Handling confidential personal information in this way is unacceptable and may violate the GDPR. I am truly sickened by this. This is a serious invasion of my privacy.

They're using aliases, but I have all their real names. I've been keeping an eye on them for a few years now. Even looking me up at my pub 🤣 that was the dumbest thing you could do.

I'm speechless. Extremely poor service. On their website, they claim to be a friendly debt collection agency and operate completely transparently through an intranet where processes can be tracked. In fact, as a creditor, I was constantly ignored and completely excluded from the process. To this day, I don't know what happened over the past two months. This morning, I received a message from Ruben Caradonna that the case has been closed, without explanation. They're a company that tries to rake in as much money as possible behind people's backs, charging the debtor unreasonable collection fees, all without communication and in secret. If you email them, you're ignored, and if you call, they hang up as quickly as possible. Thanks for absolutely nothing!

Unfortunately, I had a bad debt collection experience with Straetus Kampen. I had a crystal-clear debt collection order for them for €688.42, and I had already received the first payment. However, because the client couldn't make the payment due to his drug addiction, I asked Straetus if they could take action. If I first transferred €100 excluding VAT, they would take action. After that, it went quiet... I asked several times about the status, but only the non-paying client could tell me they wouldn't take action for such a small amount (so he already had experience with that). If Straetus had mentioned this immediately upon submitting the application, I would at least have received the €100 excluding VAT.
