We purchased our first home with the assistance of Snelder Zijlstra Enschede and couldn’t have been more pleased. After a not so great experience we had with another company/broker when we first moved, we were hesitant to enlist the help of another purchase broker, but we met Niek Geerdink who gained our trust, and we are very glad to have chosen to use his office. In the crazy house market that exists, Niek navigated it with skill and tact to find us a perfect home that we are truly happy with, and at an attractive price. Being new to Holland and this being our first home, we relied on Niek to educate us and guide us through the process, however even if this were not our first home, Niek proved his value immensely. You can count on Niek to go above and beyond his role as a purchase broker, advising on the investment and future values, giving qualified advice on expected appraisal values, and having extensive knowledge in his territory. In our case, he provided valuable insight on multiple homes we otherwise may have purchased and regretted had it not been for Niek’s insight into building features, potential structural damages and long term investment potential. To overcome the difficult market, we found huge value having their colleague Daniël arrange our home visits, always incredibly fast to ensure we never lost a home to being too slow to schedule. Once placing a request in their system, we’d typically receive a call from Daniël same-day confirming our appointments, or Monday morning if on the weekends. The office clearly knows how to ensure the best success for their purchasing clients. After finding our home, Niek referred us to his colleagues Maarten and Esther whom guided us through the mortgage process swiftly and with ease, greatly reducing the stress and burden we may have otherwise had. Maarten was quick and efficient in arranging our mortgage and bank guarantee with certainty, and his colleague Esther was a great help in the process, handling fine details and making their office always available for questions we had as first time buyers and expats. I’d recommend this office any day and found great value for the services we were provided. When selling our home one day and purchasing our next, we look forward to again hiring their office for their great service and customer care.
