Unfortunately, we bought a house with a Sinke or Alpina sign in the garden. It turned out that much wasn't as described and explained by Jeroen Hofstede. It's a shame they give people this experience. Ideally, you buy a house as agreed. If you do buy from Alpina, I recommend hiring a reputable buyer's agent with legal knowledge of the industry.

Be careful if you're a buyer. I think Sinke makes it perfectly clear why. We've had contact. Sinke's response has always been denial. It's rather odd to recommend a structure to the buyer and then charge the same buyers more because the structure didn't work. And then blame the buyers for everything.
