The entire process went very smoothly and pleasantly thanks to the cooperation of Paul and his colleague Magda. After each viewing, and there were many, we received a short report about the viewers and their impressions of our property. We also received sound advice during the bidding process. Any questions we had were investigated and clearly explained where necessary. All of this resulted in a successful sale of our property. As a Westerner, I was looking for a home in Assen. That wasn't easy. After visiting several real estate agents, I chose Schoon Makelaardij because of the positive connection. Later, it turned out that Paul Schoon also had a solid knowledge of the housing industry and always arrived well-prepared for viewings. I learned a lot from Paul, including what to look for during viewings. When I bought the house, I also received many tips for improving it. When I bought my first house, I used Paul Schoon as my real estate agent for viewings. He was very helpful at the time. After more than 17 years, I sold that same house for a good price, naturally also through Schoon Real Estate. Paul Schoon was once again very helpful. I would recommend this agent to everyone.

I decided to write this review anyway, as I believe it's an honest one about selling our house this year (2019). The initial process of selling the house went very smoothly. During the sale, the communication was effective, good, and pleasant. After the sale, the transfer was less pleasant (a bit sloppy/inadequate) – I also addressed it. However, the last-minute details do linger, which is a shame in my opinion. Schoon Makelaardij is characterized by direct communication, a down-to-earth, clear, professional, and somewhat conservative approach. Tendering and sales are central.
