Thanks to Jan, I passed my driving test in the first try. Jan is a very responsible, committed and patient instructor. I recall very well one thing he told me at the beginning of my lessons: "For the test, you need a six to pass, I'll prepare you to get a nine". And it was true because he not only prepared me well for the test but also to drive safely and confidently by myself. Besides, he's very attentive and fun guy. I really enjoyed all my driving lessons, he cares about his students and we could communicate in English with no problem (which it's very important for me as international). If you read only one review about this driving school, read this one. I just passed my driving exam today, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Jan. There’s no other way to put it — he was the best person for the job. No one else could have done what he did for me. From the very first moment he came to my door and rang the bell, there was this instant connection. I remember feeling as though I had already known him for a long time. He has this calm, relaxed, positive energy, and he brings that into every single lesson. He never complained, he was never negative — all he wants is the absolute best for you, and he genuinely means that. He’ll help you reach your potential, he’ll get the most out of you, and he’ll always do it in a way that feels supportive and encouraging. Jan is very clear, direct, and knows exactly what he wants from you in the car. Because of that, you start looking forward to every lesson. I really did. Every time I got into the car with him, I enjoyed myself. You’ll look forward to driving with him too — that’s just the kind of instructor he is. One thing he helped me massively improve on was my awareness — how I scan around me, how I understand what’s happening on the road, how to stay fully conscious of the environment. He was incredibly thoughtful and wise in how he taught me that. I wasn’t nervous starting with Jan because I’d had a few lessons before with a different instructor, but that fell through. Finding Jan was purely by chance, but I’m so grateful I did. I read some great reviews about him and thought, “This is the one,” and I was right. We became pretty good friends, and I genuinely hope he enjoyed having me as a student as much as I enjoyed learning from him. I will miss making him laugh — that was one of the highlights of our lessons. I always tried to bring good vibes, good energy, and every lesson felt special. There wasn’t a single lesson I didn’t enjoy. With Jan, I did 30 lessons, and I passed my exam on my first try. If any friend of mine asked for a driving instructor, I would tell them without hesitation: there is no one better. You’ll want to drive every day when you’re learning with Jan. He makes the whole experience enjoyable, unforgettable, and meaningful. I’ll remember him for the rest of my life. That’s how much of an impact he had. Thank you Jan!

Jan is an excellent instructor. As an international driver, I had many habits that were unacceptable to CBR. Jan took his time and patiently worked on those habits with me. He is always very clear with his instructions. I had no nasty surprises in the exam, as Jan covered every matter properly with me. I passed on the first exam! Just listen to him, and you will pass. I highly recommend Jan to anyone who is willing to get their driver's licence.
