I had a great experience with Dam and in particular my driving instructor, Nejat, who helped me pass in one time! He’s very patient and explains all the techniques clearly. He’s also quite strict, which really helps you improve and prepares you well for the exam. At the same time, he’s encouraging and always cheers you on when you do things right. Overall, I really recommend the school and Nejat — excellent instructor and a very positive learning experience!

I recently took refresher lessons with Nejat Safy from DAM Driving School Arhem to get comfortable driving a manual (stick shift) car again after more than 25 years of only driving automatics. Nejat was extremely patient, calm, and encouraging, which made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. He explained everything clearly—from clutch control and smooth gear shifting to handling hills and parking—and gave me just the right amount of challenge to rebuild my confidence. His teaching style is professional, supportive, and tailored to your pace, which helped me quickly remember old skills and improve them. I highly recommend Nejat to anyone who wants to learn to drive, relearn manual driving or simply refresh their skills after years away from it. Thanks to him, I now feel comfortable and confident driving a stick shift again!

My instructor, David, was an incredibly knowledgable person for the driving classes. I just passed my exam first try also thanks to David. He knows how to challenge his students while not being overwhelming. Whenever something felt uncomfortable or I felt unsure of myself, I could always tell David and he takes it very seriously. An up front, no-nonsense, and not unimportantly; fun guy.
