I had a meeting with Remax - Bert last week. The meeting went well and Bert although had bit of trouble sometimes getting to the point was very friendly and was going to even expedite the results and get back to asap. He did this within 1 hour which was good however the basis on which i have to give 1 star review is that he evaluated the house about 10% below the WOZ(taxable value of jan 2024) the appartment is in an not amazing state but still had some great selling points like a large roofterrace. This on top with a plan to only do visits in 1 week with a bidding deadline and a "no pay no cure" policy and 3.5k fee that is fixed. Gave me the impression that if they put price low then there will be always bids and even if they are below my wishes they "did" their job and as such i have to pay even if i dont want to sell at that price. To me it feels like there is 0 incentive and trust then that the agent will get me the best price. On top of this he was going to inform us on some extra points in the next monday (yesterday) which he didnt. I have since seen two other agents that both gave a better presentation and follow up. Ofcourse for the validity of this review I will update once I have put the appartment on the market/sold to show if maybe they were right after all.

I am really lucky to have Dexter as my broker. I actually met Dexter during one of the house viewings, I feel he was very professional. Before that, I viewed at more than a 10 houses in person myself , but failed to win the bid of any of them. Later I decided to use Dexter's service. I successfully made an appointment to view the house and won the bid out among many buyers. The follow-up inspection, valuation, and notoary he also helped me contact and arranged, and the service was excellent. I have been living in my new home for more than a month now and I am very satisfied with the results.

Since organisation sometimes seems to claim they had no business with us pls find out review here. They claim to have 15 years of experience while they person supported us was a bus driver beforehand (!) Not only we lost financial a lot in using this agency but we have found similar event occurring in Zoetermeer area with the samen people mentioned. Please do visit their reviews on trustpilot!! Extremely disappointing real estate agency, with Ivo and the so‑called “owner” Bert van der Krogt standing out in particular. Our assigned agent was not even a trained real estate professional by background; he previously worked for the Hague Tramway Company. The entire business model operates on a commission-only structure that is not shared within the office. Agents—trained internally by Remax and not certified by the NVM—earn solely from their own sales. This model does not serve the client’s best interests. In an already challenging housing market, potential buyers were not proactively forwarded or encouraged, simply because doing so would not benefit the agent personally. This fundamentally undermines the seller’s position. Throughout the sales process we received a stream of excuses about the lack of progress: “The sun is shining, people are at the beach.” “It’s raining, so people stay indoors.” We even had to facilitate open house events ourselves. Under the supervision of owner Bert van der Krogt, a sale was arranged through our paid media package for a property belonging to the daughter of agent Ivo—sold privately to a third party. At the very least, this felt highly questionable. After confronting them about this and stating clearly that we no longer wished to be represented by Remax—after three‑quarters of a year on the market—we switched agencies despite multiple threats from Bert. The NVM-certified agent who took over needed only one open house event to sell the property, and did so in a professional, transparent, and truly service‑oriented manner.
