I had found a glass round cutter on the internet that I really wanted, and it was an outlet item too. Now, the website didn't show any prices; you had to request them via email? Strange for such a large company, but okay, I sent an email and luckily there was only 1 outlet round cutter. After a few days, I received a price that I accepted. Upon delivery, with almost double delivery costs, it turned out to be a completely different round cutter. Sent an email, no response, so I decided to call. A friendly lady spoke to me but referred me to her colleague. Who had never heard of customer friendliness and tried to completely blame me for the wrong item being sent. What I wanted was twice as expensive and no longer within my financial reach. One thing was clear: I didn't want this item and it was going back. After some further objections, that was allowed, but the shipping costs would be deducted. I just sent another email explaining the right of withdrawal. The money still needs to be refunded, so I have no experience with this. But I didn't want to withhold this story from future customers; consider yourself warned.

Order something that's supposed to be in stock, then have to call yourself after four weeks to check on the status. If nothing has been done with the order, you call again four weeks later... "Oh no, it's out of stock," you're told. When asked about the delivery time, whether it's days, weeks, or even months, they can't answer. The staff on the phone seem disinterested and irritated when you call. "Now, can I call once after waiting eight hours?"

UPDATE 10-12-2020 The agreement and basis on which we purchased this expensive machine was to grind glass up to 150 kg per m². However, in practice, we only grind 50 kg per m², just a third. As a result, our company overinvested over €15,000. Pieterman Vlaardingen still refuses to admit this major and deliberate mistake. Disgraceful! UPDATE 16-07-2020 Pieterman has still not offered a structural solution for the fact that the machine we purchased for over €30,000 doesn't grind the promised 150 kg per m², but ONLY 50 kg per m². As a glass company, we were not properly informed about this, and it continues to cost us money every day. Paid too much for a machine that doesn't do what it promises, and a supplier who refuses to compromise... Months later... and still NO SOLUTION from Pieterman Vlaardingen regarding the non-compliance with the agreements. In fact, it remains completely SILENT with this company, which doesn't deliver what it promises and doesn't honor its agreements. Our company is extremely disappointed; a lot of capital has been lost, and we will definitely NOT do business with Pieterman Vlaardingen or Pieterman in Paal, Belgium, again! After purchasing a glass grinding machine from Pieterman Vlaardingen BV, worth €34,100, which was supposed to be able to grind 150 kg per m², it turned out that this was nowhere near the correct capacity! The grinding machine can only cut 50 kg per m². This was also confirmed by a Pieterman employee after the purchase. As a result, our company overinvested by over €15,000. Not only is the machine significantly less valuable, but we also had to rely on third parties for cutting glass weighing over 50 kilograms per square meter. Since then we have had a great experience with Pieterman in Vlaardingen and Pieterman in Paal-Belgium!
