In January 2026, the company PGR renovated the facade of the apartments at Anjelierstraat 60 through 70, sometimes under very harsh weather conditions. To this end, the mortar was ground out and chiseled to a nice depth, and several lintels, which had cracks in the mortar, were chipped free. The steel was derusted and preserved. Two steel beams were so badly oxidized, holes had developed in them, that PGR recommended replacing them. PGR carried out this work. Afterward, these areas were repointed in accordance with the existing brickwork, using matching bricks. The bricks of the entire facade were steam-cleaned. The entire building was repointed and sealed. The contractors were very professional, friendly, and courteous. Occasionally, they played a radio, but not so loudly that it disturbed the entire street. The members of our homeowners' association (VVE) are very satisfied with the work PGR has done for us, especially after a bad experience with the contractors who previously renovated our rear facade. Excellent company! They did a great job replacing, pointing, cleaning, and sealing some of the bricks in the front facade. Very friendly and hardworking employees who made sure they didn't leave a mess behind afterward. The neighbors were also enthusiastic about this excellent work.
