A truly terrible experience and unnecessary extra costs! We chose this notary for the purchase of our house because it was attractively priced. The initial communication was poor and neglectful, and shortly before the appointment where we and the previous owners were to sign, we were informed that the appointment had been incorrectly scheduled and needed to be changed quickly. Then, during the sale of our own house, we were told that Palm Huisman Notarissen had only shared the documents with the bank a week later, which meant they didn't have enough time to prepare everything. In the end, another notary (who acted very well) did everything possible to arrange this, and we had to charge an expedited fee for it. Unnecessary stress and uncertainty that was unnecessary. Now, Palm Huisman hasn't responded for over two weeks, so I recommend everyone look for a better alternative. Cheap is definitely expensive in this case.

Spent four months trying to sign the deed. I couldn't reach them by phone, no response, and ended up going to a different notary. I managed to get a quote, but I only got one star for that, but I couldn't handle the transaction properly.

The offer came in quickly, but after that, it was a long time before our mortgage and transfer deeds were finalized. After numerous reminders, we finally received the drafts a week before the scheduled signing dates. We also received confidential financial information from the other party. The process could hardly have been worse. An extra star, however, because the current notary is much friendlier than the old Schretlen, and we were even offered coffee and tea.
