I highly recommend that you work with OpenDeur, especially if you are an expat looking to buy a house in the Netherlands. What I was pleased with and appreciated the most was the staff's integrity. They maintained professional and ethical position on the over bidding war that was going on in the Netherlands. A staff kept assuring us that we would find the right house at the right price for us. OpenDeur's staff was very understanding, knowledgable, helpful, and attentive. They advised us on every step of the process, provided professional opinions on location, culture, local real estate market and housing value of the houses we were interested in and placed bid on. And we did find a house that met our budget without paying over the estimated value. We did that within a tight time frame and successfully moved in. I am very grateful to get introduced to OpenDeur, to work with them, and to get to know the staff over the course of our interaction. I will definitely work with OpenDeur again when I consider buying the next house.

Very satisfied with the appraisal by Open Deur Makelaardij. Communication was pleasant and fast, and they're also easy to reach via WhatsApp. They arrived promptly on time, and the appraisal report was prepared quickly and completely to our satisfaction. Highly recommended!

We actually ended up at OpenDeur without much comparison material, partly because of the rave reviews. It's a young company with modern systems for a fixed commission. For example, you get a group WhatsApp message with the agent and several other colleagues, and in the online system you can see exactly who's coming to view and when, a short description of each person, and also immediately see any offers received. Overall, we are satisfied with OpenDeur! We did find that we had to check (and improve) a lot ourselves, such as the floor plan and sales text, but we understand from others that this is the case with many agents. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful, especially the evening photography! We had to manage the open house on Saturday ourselves, which felt a bit "easy" from the agent, and occasionally we would have preferred a little more advice instead of objective answers to our questions. All in all, we are satisfied with OpenDeur and we sold our house to our satisfaction! I would recommend OpenDeur.

Very positive. Mr. Jansen did the appraisal. He took his time. A pleasant experience. The appraisal report was then prepared very carefully and delivered quickly. He also contacted us afterward to check if everything was satisfactory. Excellent! Highly recommended!
