The property was inspected in a systematic fashion. The valuator made observations regarding positive/negative aspects in a manner that corroborated with my own experiences. The focus was on aspects that determine the intrinsic value of the property, without being distracted by details that do not really count. The interpersonal experience with the valuator was formal though pleasant. The valuation is within the expected range and is experienced to be realistic. Addendum: During the inspection the valuator discovered that the energy label could not be found on the EP-online system. I then gave her the mail with the certificate, which she accepted in good faith. At the same time she asked me to find out what the problem was. To cut a long story short, the agency that had actually done the inspection had received a negative audit, and 2000 labels of the considered period had been cancelled in 2024 by the supervising agency EPG. That should have been communicated by the inspection agency to the clients, but was not, which is now causing mayhem. Since I had acted in good faith, and that in 2023 the reviews of the label inspection agency were still positive, the property valuator offered to update my house taxation report without any extra cost, which is very much appreciated indeed. She had herself looked closely at the energy aspects and drawn her own conclusion: a lot had been done to improve the house energy performance. Great service!
