We had a very positive experience. They provided great (and realistic) advice at every step, from the beginning to the end —whether it was what to look out for when viewing properties, what offers to make, and guidance during the buying process. Anneke and Reinier from NKM van Gool Makelaars were very helpful as real state agent for us. They were available any time we contacted them, and gave us very informative suggestions which helped us in finalizing our house. They speak good English and have wide knowledge about the properties. They are both very friendly, approachable, well informed and wants what's best for you. I would strongly recommend them to all.

Unfortunately, what a terrible experience. I would advise everyone to stay away. I ordered a valuation report from Reinier Dusowa of NKM Woonaccent Makelaars / NKM van Gool for an interest rate review. I was a bit worried about the other bad review on Google. Furthermore, the appraiser was 20 minutes late for the appointment, but okay. The real problem was the report I received: Reinier made errors throughout the report. First of all, his apartment measurements were 2 square meters smaller than they actually were. Also, the roof terrace had been demolished by 3 square meters. This significantly reduced the appraised value. Reinier didn't provide any drawings; he simply said, "My equipment is calibrated; I don't know how other agents measured this apartment." He refused to amend the report. He also misunderstood the value of the roof terrace (49 square meters in the center of Utrecht). According to his own calculations, the appraised value of my apartment is lower than the ground-floor apartment that was sold six months earlier. Yet, Reinier's appraised value (November 2019) was so low that it was even lower than the WOZ value (January 2019)!!! While the general real estate price indicator across the Netherlands rose by 8.5%... Reinier refused to contact me when I filed the complaint. If you give too many reasons why he made a mistake, he will focus on the reasons he thinks he's right, but systematically ignores the points where he doesn't have a valid argument. The impact of Reinier's gross negligence was minor; I was in the process of an interest rate review. But a first-time buyer buying a first home with Reinier as appraiser... oh my god! That could mean you don't get the house. Be aware and choose wisely. Stay away from NKM Woonaccent Makelaars / NKM van Gool.

We had a valuation carried out by an appraiser from this firm (R.D. Dusoswa) for the financing of a new-build home. The appraiser came up with a value of 320k, whereas we suspected a value of 350k based on two rough valuations from 3/4 of a year ago. We corresponded with the appraiser at length about this, but he was unwilling to adjust his valuation. The consequence is that we had to pay more interest on the bridging loan, because the risk was now greater. Our home was sold recently anyway and is now valued at 375k. What an increase in value within 12 weeks, or was that appraiser from Van Gool completely wrong after all?
