Nijland Driving School is highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn to drive in a professional and enjoyable way. The driving instructors are highly skilled, patient, and explain everything clearly and calmly. This makes you feel at ease from the very first lesson. What really sets this driving school apart for me is its flexibility. They are very considerate of your personal schedule and actively help you plan your lessons as effectively as possible. This makes taking driving lessons much more accessible and stress-free. In short: excellent guidance, a pleasant atmosphere, and fantastic service. A top-notch driving school! 🚗💨

Nijland Driving School was the strangest driving school I've ever been to. I went there on the recommendation of a friend who had passed his driving test there after two attempts. From the start, I had lessons with an instructor named Hans. He was middle-aged—not a problem for me, but he was often distracted and rather self-absorbed. When I asked questions, sometimes I got an answer, sometimes not. He regularly made negative remarks (often as a "joke," but not always) about people of different backgrounds, which was unpleasant. What also bothered me was that the instructor regularly started lessons late and finished early, even though I had paid for them. This wasn't compensated unless I explicitly said so. The reason I quit: after six hours of lessons, there was still no clear curriculum or exam date, even though I had requested one immediately after passing my theory test. During the last lesson, I asked out of curiosity how many more special maneuvers we would be practicing—we'd only done one. He replied, "I'm the instructor, I decide." My thought was, "I'm the customer, and I pay for it." I called the driving school to clarify, but was referred back to the instructor. He vaguely suggested I might need another six months. I then withdrew my consent. I wanted to change instructors within the same school, but was immediately removed from the system. The instructor sent a message along the lines of, "Good luck at another school." Conclusion: I was losing money and, more importantly, time. I already had driving experience and just wanted to prepare well for the test. At another driving school, I took seven hours of lessons over two weeks and passed the first time thanks to a top-notch instructor. I do not recommend this school. The administration and instructor themselves didn't really know what they were doing. Perhaps this was a one-off, but for me, it was a very negative experience.
