I've paid 16K for a heat pump. The installer does not respond. Nibe did not respond to my requests. I've mailed Nibe a detailed feedback report of all the things that are hard to use, not working, and/or unclear. They promised to get back at me... No response. My system is kind of working, it heats the house and provides hot water. Using the system is near to impossible: hidden menu's, weird consoles, unclear nomenclature, no status information, setting up cooling requires many steps, and hardly works. They have an online system, which they ask money for. They call it NIBE Uplink. Then, they renamed it to... myUplink. This online service is constantly being changed, which breaks smart home integration (Home assistent, Homey, etc). If I would have known all these things before I spend my money, I'd have looked elsewhere.

I'm extremely disappointed with Nibe's service. When choosing a heat pump, we deliberately chose Nibe because they're known as one of the best brands with years of experience. A heat pump, especially one from a brand known for its quality, should last at least 15 to 20 years. Unfortunately, within five years, we experienced a malfunction, meaning we could only heat with the electric element. After Nibe repaired it, we received a bill for over €3,000. I filed a complaint, which I believe was entirely justified, regarding non-conformity. But Nibe showed no goodwill whatsoever. Not even a discount. While the heat pump itself may be a fine appliance, the service is far below par. I hope the appliance will continue to run smoothly for years to come, but if it needs replacing in the future, it definitely won't be a Nibe!

On March 1, 2025, I purchased a NIBE S2125-12 heat pump with VVM 500, intended as a complete heating solution for my home. Unfortunately, this system has not performed according to the product specifications and expectations from the outset. The heat pump consistently fails to achieve the calculated and requested flow temperature. While the system and documentation indicate a flow temperature of around 50°C, in practice the system only reaches approximately 38 degrees Celsius, even with: • very limited output (a few radiators), • prolonged running time, • and with the electric auxiliary heater activated up to 5–6 kW. As a result, the home is not heated sufficiently, making normal living comfort impossible. NIBE has visited the site several times. During one visit, a refrigerant leak was also discovered and repaired, confirming that the system had not been functioning correctly for a period of time. Despite these repair attempts, the problem has not been resolved. Furthermore, the MyUplink app indicates that software updates are available, but these cannot be performed by the end user themselves and NIBE has not yet installed them. NIBE no longer provides any substantive solutions and claims the problem lies elsewhere, while measurement data and practical tests do not support this. After months of testing, contact, and visits, we are now forced to continue the process through legal assistance. A very disappointing experience with both the product and the aftercare.

Our technicians enjoy working with Nibe products: - A clear overview in the connection diagrams - Support from the Nibe office is very helpful and the lines of communication are short. - Suggestions for improvement from practice are also addressed effectively and adjusted if necessary. - Nibe technicians stand by our technicians, which makes for a pleasant collaboration. - The range of heat pumps, etc., offers a great solution for many situations. With every company or product, things can go wrong sometimes. The strength lies in the solution that you, as manufacturer and installer, make possible together, so the customer doesn't experience any inconvenience! As experienced installers, we understand that the system behind the heat pump is even more important than the heat pump itself. Therefore, we say: If quality determines your choice, choose Nibe! Iets meer dan 2 jaar geleden hebben wij een Nibe S2125-12 warmtepomp en alle bijbehorende apparaten (bijverwarming, pompen, buffer, boiletvat. etc) aangeschaft via onze installateur. Kosten installatie € 25.000 waarvan ruim 17.000 aan Nibe materialen. Na 1 week stopte de warmtepomp er plotseling mee: printplaat doorgebrand. Bizar maar kan gebeuren. Service en begrip vanuit Nibe waardeloos (zie mijn eerdere review hier). Het duurde even maar uiteindelijk is het wel opgelost. Nu zijn we 2 jaar en 2 maanden verder. Eergisteren stopte de warmtepomp er weer plotseling mee. Deze keer blijkt de ventilatormotor én printplaat kapot. Nibe verschuilt zich meteen achter de 2 jaar garantie bij onze installateur. Eea is zo complex dat Nibe zelf moet komen herstellen. Maar dat gaat volgens de service-planning nog wel even duren (minimaal 1,5 week). Wat een waardeloze kwaliteit. We zijn echt zwaar teleurgesteld en dachten een duurzame investering gedaan te hebben maar niets blijkt minder waar. Standaard komt hier een reactie van de marketingafdeling onder te staan maar ze nemen nooit contact met je op terwijl Mijn gegevens gewoon bekend zijn bij jullie aangezien ik een betaalde MyUplink account heb.
