Joost is unfriendly, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful. From the first conversation, I felt like he had no interest in my situation. He was curt, didn't provide clear information, and seemed in a hurry to get the conversation over with. When my offer wasn't accepted, he couldn't even offer a proper explanation—instead, he was dismissive and condescending. You absolutely don't expect that kind of attitude from a real estate agent. If you're looking for someone who takes you seriously and treats you professionally, I would strongly advise against Makelaarsplein, and especially Joost. I've also seen in various reviews below that people in similar situations are completely in denial. This company truly has no shame!

My experience with Joost from Makelaarsplein was unfortunately anything but positive. Communication was difficult: appointments were missed or rescheduled at the last minute without clear explanation. This instilled little confidence in the process. Furthermore, I felt a lack of a proactive approach. During viewings, little information was provided about the property or its condition, and questions often went unanswered or were dismissed with "you can sort that out yourself." As a client, you expect guidance and expertise in such an important process, but I didn't experience that here. Ultimately, I felt as if my interests as a buyer were barely taken seriously. Therefore, I would not recommend this real estate agent to others looking for a committed and expert partner.
