Communication with Mykhailo, the owner of Maison de Nieuw, was in English, but that wasn't a problem. His team is made up of professionals who know their stuff. Mykhailo and his crew have been fantastic to work with. The guys on the crew are professionals and do really nice work. But what has impressed me the most is their can-do attitude and their efforts to make the remodel look nice even under less than perfect conditions and nasty surprises, which are the norm in old houses. I really felt that I had a partner in Maison de Nieuw … and most refreshingly, no condescension towards me as a woman customer. In sum, as remodels go, Maison de Nieuw provided me with a positive process and a high-quality outcome.
