We viewed a house in Oegstgeest. Mr. Losecaat was the real estate agent who guided us. We immediately had a positive feeling about the house and were seriously interested. After the viewing, we asked Mr. Losecaat about the procedure for submitting an offer. He told us it was the holiday season and there was no rush. More viewings were scheduled for the next two weeks. The agreement was that we would wait until the agent had finished the viewings and returned from vacation. We scheduled a second viewing through our buyer's agent, based on Mr. Losecaat's advice, as he knew this agent. After this, we agreed to submit an offer. On Friday, after their office closed, we received a short email informing us that the viewing had been canceled because they had selected a buyer! We were very surprised, as we had been told to wait and see, we'll hear from you. This was highly unprofessional and non-transparent. We have no confidence in this agent. If he had said after the first viewing, "You can make an offer," we would have done so. He's not honest, and he doesn't honor his agreements. This is a real shame...
