Dear visitor, I contacted this real estate agent about a property in Goor. A few days later, I had a viewing, as agreed. The sale was, of course, by tender; anyone could submit an offer before a certain deadline. I submitted my offer by phone, and it would be discussed with the owner. So far, everything had gone smoothly. Then I received a call back and was curtly told that my offer wasn't sufficient and that it was bad luck. I had offered to negotiate and asked if there was any option or if I could be told what the sale was for. Nothing was said except "unfortunately, and good luck with the rest." I found this rather strange, so I investigated further. It turned out that this agent had offered the property to someone else for a few euros more, so there was no fair process. This is, of course, unacceptable, especially in this overvalued housing market. Therefore, I have decided not to do business with them anymore, unfortunately.
