Exactly one year ago, a new boiler was installed. Unfortunately, a pipe was hit, causing damage to my laminate flooring. This month, I received a €78 additional charge from PWN. The installer was incredibly kind and friendly; the bad taste I'm left with about this company isn't his fault. My insurance has covered the damage to the laminate flooring. I've now explained to KTI my problem regarding the PWN bill I still owe, and asked if I could get the €78 back from KTI. The answer is: I should have reported this amount and requested this claim immediately after the leak. But I'm sorry, besides the stress of my ruined laminate flooring and all the hassle surrounding it, they didn't compensate me for the damage and didn't ask a single question or show any interest. HOW could I have known then how much I'd now have to pay to PWN? Again, I won't charge the installer himself; accidents happen. But it's the project manager of this company who passes the buck, takes no responsibility, and shows no kindness. That's why, in my opinion, it's a bad company, and I'm not going to leave it at that. I believe I'm within my rights.
