A truly terrible experience—avoid it. Engaging Kolmeijer Real Estate Agents to sell my apartment in Nijmegen was a deeply disappointing and unprofessional experience. From the outset, there were fundamental errors, including an attempt to conceal a higher commission in the contract. The presentation of the property was a disgrace. The photos were rushed and of extremely low quality, a fact confirmed by other agents I spoke with later. The agent (Daniel) who conducted the viewings was completely unprepared. He arrived only five minutes before the first viewing without a "for sale" sign and lacked even the most basic knowledge about the apartment. Communication was a constant struggle. Even after offers were received, they seemed clueless. I had to ask them three times in one week to gather the necessary information from the buyer. Ultimately, they even lost the keys and didn't hand them over to the buyer during the final inspection. During the process, I raised these issues with the owner, Rolf, many times, but his dismissive response only confirmed the firm's lack of professionalism. Kolmeijer's incompetence caused enormous stress during an already difficult process. I would strongly advise anyone against using their services.
