My mother has repeatedly reported that the heating isn't working, and the claim that it turns itself off is bullshit; it's never happened in 12 years. It was done by an intermediary company, who said they turned it off on Knol's instructions, which never happened. When I called, I got a man on the line who wasn't very friendly. I also mentioned this to the Knol technician who came by and said, "I'm not allowed to do too much; I have to do what I'm told myself." He didn't understand it either.
