Normally, I only post positive reviews on Google, and I've long considered posting this negative review, but it's necessary because I want to protect others from the damage Peter/KIBS caused in our home. A little over a year after Peter installed a beautiful bathroom for us, we discovered water damage coming from that bathroom. When we reported this to him, he was completely unwilling to either investigate the cause of the problem with us or repair the damage. Or rather, he did! He was willing to repair it, but we'd have to pay for it again. We feel utterly ripped off by Peter and his company, KIBS. At first, I thought: someone who can tile, seal, install plumbing, and electrical systems: it's too good to be true! And I wish I'd listened to my intuition, because it was. It's such a disappointment when a company refuses to help you with a problem they caused. Think twice before doing business with KIBS.

I regret that we went with KIBS. Peter built a complete bathroom for us. Several things went wrong, such as concealing a fan behind a tiled wall. Additionally, he failed to ensure the shower area drained properly; he even had to return for that. And unfortunately for us, he didn't do that right either, leaving us with a leak. This only came to light when the soffit in the living room, through which the drain runs, showed water damage just above the skirting board. After I opened the soffit, we discovered that everything inside the soffit and under the bathroom tiles was soaked. Peter is relying on the expired one-year warranty. A leak in a bathroom costing over 20,000 euros after a year and 3 months. There are much better and more professional installation companies to be found in Sneek and the surrounding area than this one. The bathroom in question is on his site, bathroom Sneek, a beautiful bathroom, but unfortunately, for Peter, it was clearly only about the money and the photos.
