Very unfriendly, somewhere at the bottom of the website they have different opening hours. When we went in, they didn't quite say what we were doing. There were three people standing around doing nothing, but they wouldn't help us because we didn't have an appointment. We explained that we had to drive more than an hour, but it didn't matter. We had to come back another time. I told the contractor we'd buy our stuff elsewhere! Highly recommended, find another shop before wasting your time here!

We didn't know they no longer sell to private individuals, only to contractors. We did have one, but it wasn't in their system. They felt like they were doing us a favor by selling tiles (€2000). Moreover, there was no guarantee they'd be in stock the following week; contractors take precedence. We bought the same tiles online for €1000 less and had them delivered on time, free of charge. It didn't have to happen that way, but ultimately, we're very happy with how it went.

We ordered tiles from Julius van der Werf through our bathroom store. The large stack of tiles contained a package with a different color, but the packaging was identical in terms of numbering, etc. Our tiler discovered this too late and placed the tile in the toilet. When the error was discovered, he had to remove tiles from an entire wall. Julius van der Werf refused to provide a photo clearly showing the color difference and denied any responsibility. They argued (the tile was already broken and sawn) that the tile should be returned and disposed of in a container. The end result was that they refused to engage in discussions with private individuals, saddled the bathroom store with the impossible task of claiming any form of goodwill, and left me with a €225 bill because the tiler had to work an extra half day, leaving me with tiles I didn't order. Fantastic company!

There are signs of linguistic chauvinism in the dispatch office – one of the employees openly shows contempt towards people who do not speak Dutch.

Once and never again. Looking for a specific tile. From the moment I arrived, I didn't get the feeling that I was welcome at all. The woman behind the counter (who you would think is the company's calling card) indicated she didn't have time. She came across as very grumpy, showed absolutely no interest, and you were left to figure it out yourself. The quality of the tiles is probably fine. But I would rather look elsewhere than spend a single cent here.
