While replacing an awning, one of the supports broke at 4:30 PM. This wasn't convenient, as we could have used scaffolding that was scheduled for pickup that same evening. We called supplier Karssen Zonwering in Harderwijk and explained the situation. The operator's initial response was that it would be quite a challenge, as it was almost closing time and the technician wasn't available. But she would do her best. After fifteen minutes, an employee called back for additional details about the broken support. Well after closing time, the owner of the company called again, saying he might be able to offer a solution. He had managed to find a support in his inventory and offered to deliver it that same evening. We jumped at the chance. Later that evening, he came by and even helped install the support. He refused to pay: "Good service!" All in all, thanks to the flexibility and customer focus of the operator, the employee, and the owner of Karssen Zonwering, we managed to hang the screen before the scaffolding was collected.
