1st Review 18:40 hrs. 25.09.2023 Work which was supposed to start was cancelled and unfinished. Initial communication from the company, related to quote was good. Even there were options shared related to start/finish of work. Then to ensure if correct spare parts were being ordered, I asked a question and also based on my availability I suggested few more dates to start the work. I waited for 6 days until I got any response. I finally followed up requesting a response and the response received lacked some politeness. And later when I shared the requested data from them, they suddenly decided to cancel the work. The reason given was preferred language was not a good way to communicate. I even tried calling to sort out any issue/misunderstanding. They denied to speak to me and the deal was just shut down without further valid reason. Of course its their choice to work or not but as a customer this is not what we deserve. Even with the silly excuse it seems a bit of discrimination towards non native speakers. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2nd Review (after response from company) 22:05 hrs 25.09.2023 Thank you for responding to my first review. Much appreciate it. I would like to emphasize a fact that out of entire 23 emails that were exchanged between me and the company, there is not a single email where I have raised a concern related to HIGH costs. I would like to request the team to go through all 23 emails and trace if I have raised any concerns related to high cost. Therefore the statement mentioned in their statement "Omdat een van de aangebrachte argumenten van jouw de hoge kosten waren adviseerden we jou om contact op te nemen met een lokale partij." is completely FALSE. They did not deny to work with me because of the reason stated in their review but because of a language. (It is clearly mentioned in one of emails). As mentioned in my first review, I waited for 6 days to follow up on my 2 questions : 1.) Possibility to start the work on a separate day (due to my unavailability) 2.) To make sure if appropriate/correct spare parts are being ordered by me. I have never ever raised any concern or question about high cost. In fact the first denial from the company that came to me on 25th September over email which stated the reason that the language being used for communication is difficult so they will not work with me. When the first denial came stating a silly reason about language, I sensed that some misunderstanding has occurred and I wanted to clear that out over a call. When I requested to connect to relevant person, she denied to talk to me. After which I even tried to explain the reason for the call. "Treating someone unfairly based on certain characteristics such as language, race, or nationality is a type of discrimination. This also includes any housing or any other services" No matter what, I still believe that it is a form of discrimination towards non-native speakers.

What a disaster, the installation of our new Schüco sliding door by ITH. And yet their quote was the highest. And what a nuisance that Mosa Glass glass was. Our new Schüco sliding door, installed by ITH from Heerlen, had Mosa Glass glass. I've lost count, but the glass in both halves of the sliding door has already been replaced at least once. The first complaint was that the glass was becoming milky, as if there were dirt or a hazy layer between the glass. This is only visible in sunlight. Our sliding door is on the south facade, so you see this problem every day. After replacement, one half is now reasonably clear. So it's a good solution with Mosa Glass. The day after the new glass was installed, I reported a scratch to ITH. It hasn't been repaired to date. The left pane of glass was also replaced. At the time, I ordered solar control glazing, fitted with a light-colored film. Unfortunately, there's now a color difference between the two panes of glass. It appears that one half has a clear, non-colored film. Worst of all, the left half still turns milky when the sun shines on it. All in all, a major annoyance every single day. This is no longer an issue with ITH; they refer to Mosa Glass and hide behind the findings of that company's expert. Sad and very disappointing! P.S.: Viewed from the inside, the left and right sides are reversed. The photo shows dark, transparent areas in the milky glass. In these areas, shadows are cast on the glass by the leaves of a tree at the back of the garden. Now, in November, the leaves are gone, and the glass is completely milky in sunlight. The milky discoloration is caused by the film applied to the inside of the double-glazed windows. The ITH installers said they had hardly had any complaints about the glass before. But that was with other suppliers for the glass.

We received good service with our broken tilt-and-turn window, but they did charge us twice: for the travel time and the price per kilometer of €0.75 (excluding VAT). It's a bit of a rip-off. So make sure you make good arrangements, and hopefully, everything will be fine.
