I received truly fantastic service from Van Eersel. Circumstances at home required a quick solution for the air conditioning installation and central heating upgrade, which was handled quickly, pleasantly, and professionally from start to finish by the V. Eersel team. From the initial contact, quote, scheduling, to the execution and after-sales service. The installers were neat and pleasant to work with, and they called in extra help to ensure the app and connection worked properly. They cleaned up the house down to the last detail and brought it back to the shop. Absolutely spotless. Giving yourself space and demonstrating flexibility also allows a company and its schedule to respond accordingly. This was a true interaction between V. Eersel and myself. It works both ways, from client to contractor. This results in a pleasant collaboration.

It was scorching hot this spring, especially in the attic where we have an office. Van Eersel already serviced the boiler and also provided good advice on installing an air conditioner. A portable air conditioner is only half the job with the window half open. It's been really productive, and it also makes a difference upstairs near the children's bedrooms when it's sweltering. The technician was friendly, and everything was left clean.

During the installation of the sewer pipe in the roof, the installers left the mess in the gutter and the front garden. When the ventilation unit was moved, it stopped working. On the advice of Van Eersel, an electrician was called in who concluded that there was nothing wrong with the electrical wiring. The fault lay in the installation. I contacted Van Eersel about this, as it was a working unit before it was moved. The initial response was that their technician had not touched the electrical wiring. When I indicated that the unit stopped working after it had been moved by their technician, they said it would be discussed again. To date, I have received no further response. In the meantime, out of necessity, I have called in another company that immediately identified the problem. I have no problem with mistakes being made; that is human and can be resolved through consultation. However, I find the lack of communication extremely poor.

At the beginning of this year (2024), we signed a maintenance contract with this company for the central heating boiler and air conditioning system! So far, no problems. In June, the technician from Van Eersel performed all the maintenance in one day, and we paid the invoice. However, immediately after this service, water dripped from the indoor air conditioning unit, causing the entire system to malfunction and causing a short circuit in the meter box. After reporting the incident to Van Eersel, the same technician was sent again and diagnosed a defective circuit board. This can happen, and I requested that it be replaced, as the indoor and outdoor temperatures had risen considerably to around 30 degrees Celsius. It then took about three weeks, and no response from Van Eersel. After contacting them by phone about this, Pieter van Eersel called after another several weeks to inform them that the air conditioning was already defective before his technician had performed the maintenance, that he couldn't obtain parts, and that he couldn't do anything further. This was a very strange experience for me, especially at a time when summer temperatures here were almost daily reaching 30 degrees Celsius without air conditioning! I find this situation very remarkable and extremely unfriendly to customers. I understand that anything can go wrong, and making mistakes is human (I do too, often), but then they should fix it. I never need this company to deliver or repair anything again.

I've already asked this company twice to contact me about radiator replacement and heat pump installation, but apparently, even calling back is too much to ask. I understand they can't do the job right away, but if you don't even call your customers back, I find that particularly disgraceful.
