We're very disappointed in this company. We contacted them to have a new thermostat installed. They tried to sell us additional equipment that we didn't need & when we declined to buy this other equipment they refused to help us at all. This is some of the worst service that we've ever come across in Enschede!

We outsourced the underfloor heating installation to Velo van der Bij. Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience with this company. Our approval for the job ended up in their spam folder, so they didn't schedule us and hired someone else to do the work. Not our choice. The work was then poorly executed. Furthermore, the underfloor heating manifold malfunctioned for a long time because the return valve wasn't opened during installation. As a result, we had no comfort for two years and had to incur extra costs to get a comfortable temperature in our house. After two years, two Velo technicians discovered that the return valve was almost completely closed and used tools to open it. They then saw heat circulating through the pipes in the floor on a thermal imaging camera. We reported this to Velo, but they showed absolutely no compassion. It became a game of "yes, no, no." Something we don't want. We want a solution and some understanding. Therefore, we cannot recommend this company.

We asked Velo van der Bij to replace our water heater with a small boiler in the kitchen. The first appointment took a long time to arrive, and then they didn't show up because the technicians were on a "training course." Didn't they cancel or anything? We made a new appointment; they were supposed to arrive at 8:00 AM, but by 10:00 AM, no one had arrived. After calling the scheduler three times, it turned out these technicians were also busy with other things. At 2:00 PM, a technician finally arrived. However, he had no idea what needed to be done and still had to pick up materials. He couldn't finish the job, so we had to arrange a third day for a three-hour job! Disgraceful company! We were satisfied with the work the technician did, but the rest—planning, work preparation, and customer service—were terrible! Please think three or even four times before calling this company!

Overall, I'm quite satisfied. The friendly technician found the solution to the problem. Until I got the bill. We were charged €303 for the faucet (which the technician couldn't quote a price for). And for an hour and ten minutes of work (10 of which were spent on the phone with another customer), we were charged two hours. I emailed and called the company and, as a goodwill gesture, received a 10% discount. When I looked for the same faucet online, it was offered for half the price. I understand they want to make money, but that much? I emailed again, but this time there was no response. I can't recommend this company if they treat their customers poorly... Marloes
