Bontekoe installation company installed a flue pipe on the boiler. We've been dealing with a serious leak for over a year. Soaking wet towels on the boiler after just one rain shower. They won't fix it. They don't answer. I called in a colleague roofer, who says they've made a mess of it. They messed up a bit of lead replacement. This colleague is going to do the work and says the flue pipe will be too short, making it unusable. A new one will be needed, and my €475 replacement fee will be thrown down the drain. Fortunately, I have legal expenses insurance. They'll still get the bill for this work. They can also refund the €475.

They installed two valves on my radiator and surprised me with a bill of almost €200! I asked them if this was a reasonable price, and they rudely replied, "Yes." See the message below. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- My question: Dear Hans, Do you still think that installing two valves by a professional should take an hour and fifteen minutes? It's a bit odd that when you request a free quote via email with all the details, someone has to come by first to take a look, but then immediately charges a half-hour administration fee. It's a shame, but that's not a free quote.
